American Revolution Museum at Yorktown 200 Water Street, Route 1020, Yorktown

Step into 18th-century life with a colorful, hands-on workshop inspired by the special exhibition Outlander: Costumes Woven in Time. Living-history interpreters at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will guide participants through the art of natural dyeing, sharing how homespun fabrics and locally sourced dyes helped extend the life of clothing during the Revolutionary era. Guests will even create and take home their own hand-dyed silk scarf.
Appropriate for ages 13 and older. Space is limited to 20 attendees—reserve a spot early! 🧵🎨
