Stitched Stories of Strength
Experience the rich tradition of storytelling through the art of quilting in Stitched Stories of Strength, a powerful exhibition showcasing fiber artists from across the United States presented by WRL, in partnership with Colonial Williamsburg and the Juneteenth Community Consortium. Through intricate fabric compositions, each quilt serves as a testament to history, culture, and personal expression, offering both inspiration and education through the transformative medium of fiber art. Now in its fourth year, WRL’s annual Juneteenth commemorative exhibition highlights African American narratives of resilience, perseverance, and triumph.
