Do you have fond memories of the old soda fountain in the College Pharmacy in Merchants Square? Or, do you recall visiting Scribner’s Bookstore when it existed in Merchants Square? If you do, or if you would like to learn ‘what used to be there’–come and learn about the “The Evolution of Merchants Square” in a visual and narrative program which will be presented by two members of the Colonial Williamsburg Rockefeller Library staff on July 16th at 2 pm at the Kimball Theater. See photos of Merchants Square, which show the old businesses from the turn of the century to the present.
