James City County is looking for individuals that want to give back to the community.

Volunteer and internship opportunities include:

  • Libraries
  • Sports & Recreation
  • Environmental Projects

Teen Leadership & Career Development Programs are for individuals 13-17 years old who are interested in volunteering. The program is designed to give youth ‘on the job’ training opportunities in a variety of settings throughout James City County.  

Internships are available to high school students (age 16+) and college/university students. If interested, please complete the Internship Application (PDF).
