Sunrise Paddle – 5:47-7:30 a.m.
Sunrise Paddle at 5:47 a.m.– Chickahominy Riverfront Park – 1350 John Tyler Highway. Bring your own kayak or borrow one of ours for this self-guided paddle tour of Gordan Creek near Chickahominy. For ages 8+, ages 5-17 need a guardian and must ride tandem. Please register all participants. (CRP) Chickahominy Riverfront Park
Sunrise Yoga – 05:47 AM – 07:00 AM
Join us at sunrise to welcome the longest day of the year with flowing yoga sequences. This class will awaken the body, calm the mind, and prepare you to face the day. Bring a mat or beach towel and let’s go with the flow!(JBEP) Jamestown Beach Event Park
Scavenger Hunt – All day
The Project: FiveFortySeven Scavenger Hunt will be open all day during park and center operational hours. Be sure to submit your answers by midnight in order to be eligible for prizes. Longest Day Photo Contest -5:47 a.m.-11:59 p.m.

Disc Golf – 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Come to Chickahominy Riverfront park and test your throwing skills on our frisbee golf course! Bring your own frisbee or borrow one in our camp store. Drop in anytime time between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.(CRP) Chickahominy Riverfront Park
Bird Walk – 08:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Join us as we walk and talk with the local area’s best birders! Learn about common sight and sound identification while also taking in the natural beauty of Williamsburg’s green spaces. Bring binoculars and your eagle eyes! Pre-registration is required.(GST) Greensprings Trail
Axe Throwing – 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Parks & Recreation has partnered with GoApe to offer free Axe Throwing from 9 a.m. – noon. Drop in during this time frame to try out your throwing skills! Preregistration is not necessary but all participants must be at least 10 years of age. (FP) Freedom Park
Qi Gong – 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Tai Chi Qigong is a gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance. This art form that integrates mindfulness with movement, breath and energy. This could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life. Come improve your wellbeing!(VP) Veterans Park
Zumba – 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM (JCCRC) Basketball Court 1 Gym
Perfect for everybody and every body! This Zumba class is often called exercise in disguise. Mixing interval-style and calorie-burning dance fitness into a party. Bring your family and dance it out! Free event but Register HERE
Upper County Park Pool Party! 6 pm – 9 pm – Bring Dad and the rest of the family out to celebrate Father’s Day and the summer solstice on June 20 by joining Parks & Recreation for the Longest Day of Play Pool Party at Upper County Park. The FREE solstice celebration will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the Upper County Park Pool located at 180 Leisure Road. Head out to the park to enjoy poolside family trivia, DJ and music, pool games, a bonfire and more! No registration is required; weather permitting. Current COVID-19 precautions will be in place and entry into the pool is first come, first served. (UCP Pool)
Sunset Sing-a-Long 8:00pm – 9:00pm
Welcome summer with a community sing-along for all ages presented by Williamsburg Regional Library. Singing together is good for the soul! Whether you like folk songs, the Beatles, or the music of Disney, this event is for you. Lyrics, glow sticks, and mats provided. Distancing measures observed. Registration is NOT necessary for this program.Event location: 412 N. Boundary Street
