Explore our state-of-the-art laboratories and collection spaces, where artifacts from centuries past are studied, conserved, and interpreted. Get an up-close look at remarkable finds that reveal the lives of the people who lived and worked in colonial Virginia. This behind-the-scenes experience brings archaeology into focus, showing how every excavation and artifact connects the past, present, and future of Colonial Williamsburg. Each tour is limited to 15 guests, with sign-ups available beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Campbell Archaeology Center.
