Dust off your capes, grab your masks, and get ready for the most “Super” morning of the summer! 🕶️⚡ On Saturday, August 8, 2026, head over to Child Development Resources for an epic day of tricycle racing and family-friendly festival fun. Best of all? Dressing up in your favorite superhero costume is highly encouraged! 🦸♀️🎈
🕒 The “Super” Schedule of Events:
- 🏁 8:30 AM – Kids’ Superhero Trike Trek: Bring the little heroes out to race! (Ages 2–6 are FREE! Bring your own trike, balance bike, or scooter. Includes a shiny medal & your very own superhero cape! 🛴🏅)
- 🚴♂️ 9:00 AM – Adult Superhero Tricycle Race: Men’s & Women’s divisions. It’s FREE to race with a fundraising goal of $1,000. Don’t worry, CDR provides the adult-sized trikes! 🏎️💨
- 🏢 9:30 AM – Corporate Race Team: A high-stakes relay race! Teams of 4 (must include at least one woman) with a $1,000 sponsorship + fundraising. CDR provides the adult trikes. Trophies and bragging rights await! 🏆👔
- 🎉 9:30 AM – Community Day Activities: FREE and open to the public! 🎪

After the morning races, stick around for an amazing backyard bash! There will be:
- 🐷 The Teeny Tiny Farm petting zoo! 🐾
- 🎨 Awesome face painting & carnival games 🎯
- 🍿 Free hot dogs, ice cream, and popcorn! 🍦🌭
- 🎁 Fun swag, building tours, and live music! 🎶
- 💡 A great chance to learn about all the life-changing CDR programs.

This event is a major fundraiser for CDR, which serves over 1,400 young children and families in the Historic Triangle each year by providing essential therapies and early intervention services. ✨ Please consider starting a fundraiser alongside your race to help every child reach their full potential! 🧸👶

- Community Day Activities are at 9:30 am – Community Day is FREE and Open to the Public! Activities include hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, Teeny Tiny Farm petting Zoo, face painting and carnival games! Learn about all CDR programs. Fun swag and tours of the building.
Tricycle Racing Break Down:
Children ages 2 to 6: FREE
- Must provide your own tricycle, balance bike, or scooter
- Includes a medal and SuperHero cape

Men and Women’s Division: FREE
- Fundraising goal of $1,000
- CDR provides the adult racing tricycle
