MEMORIAL DAY COMMEMORATIVE PROGRAM
A special ceremony honoring the men and women who died defending America’s freedom. The Fifes & Drums lead the procession to sites where veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil War are interred, from the Governor’s Palace to Bruton Parish Church and on to the south lawn of the Capitol. The remembrance will offer prayers, laying of wreaths, and musket volleys to pay tribute to their sacrifice.
