Organ & Voice Recital: Memorial Day Commemorations
Saturday, May 27 from 8 – 9 PM at Bruton Parish Church. Enjoy a patriotic organ recital and vocal music from the Civil War era presented by organist Rebecca Davy and tenor Brian Blair. Free and open to the public.

A Memorial Day Commemoration on Palace Green
Monday, May 29 from 10 – 10:30 AM is the Memorial Day Commemoration on the Palace Green. The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation honors the men and women of the United States military who sacrificed their lives to defend our nation with a traditional wreath-laying ceremony. Free and open to public.

A Salute to the Fallen
Monday, May 29 from 4:40 – 5:00 PM on the Palace Green. To conclude Colonial Williamsburg’s Memorial Day observance, a lone bagpiper plays iconic selections from the Governor’s Palace in a heartfelt tribute to those men and women who gave their lives to our nation while serving in America’s Armed Forces.

Memorial Day Weekend FREE Admission to Colonial Williamsburg For Military*
Colonial Williamsburg is offering FREE admission during Memorial Day weekend, Friday through Monday, May 26-29, 2023, to all active duty Military, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans, National Guardsmen and their immediate dependents.*
Your free admission includes:
- Admission to historic trades and sites
- Admission to two world-class art museums
- Complimentary shuttle service
