National Park Service & Yorktown’s Civil War Weekend

Saturday, April 4th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
&
Sunday, April 5th, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

An exploration of Yorktown’s Civil War history with living history demonstrations and special exhibits throughout town. Programs will include a military encampment along with infantry and artillery firing demonstrations, and costumed guided tours at the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center. Special exhibits and displays will be featured at the York County Historical Museum at York Hall, and Riverwalk Landing.

The Watermen’s Museum will feature maritime exhibits, living history, artillery demonstrations, period music, and childrenís activities. A Civil War themed contra dance will take place at the museum Saturday night from 6-8 p.m.
