National Park Service Civil War Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, April 14 & 15 Sat. 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. & Sun. 12 a.m. – 5 p.m. Join us in an exploration of Yorktown’s Civil War history with living history demonstrations and special exhibits throughout town. Programs will include a military encampment along with infantry and artillery firing demonstrations, and costumed guided tours at the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center. Special exhibits will be featured at the York County Historical Museum at York Hall, and Riverwalk Landing.
The Watermen’s Museum will feature maritime exhibits, living history, artillery demonstrations, period music, and childrenís activities. A Civil War themed contra dance will take place at the museum Saturday night from 6-8 p.m.

Adult (16 and older) -$7; good for 7 days entrance to Yorktown Battlefield (and NPS areas at Historic Jamestowne); can be upgraded to see Preservation Virginia areas at Historic Jamestowne for an additional $7 at the Historic Jamestowne Visitor Center. Yorktown Battlefield will not be selling the $14 entrance permit for Historic Jamestowne. 15 and younger are free.
